I find inspiration in the strangest of places...
/Today, after hearing a song from Kpop Demon Hunters, I decided to finally watch the movie that my online friends were raving about. Despite the overall arc of the movie it has some underlying meanings. One of them is the lead singer being shameful of what she actually is, a half demon half human.
She kept it to herself and eventually those cracks almost shattered any chances of being a success and preventing the demons from taking all the human souls. In the end she let go of those fears, those insecurities and shame of being who she was and the song that erupted in the moment expressed her true colours.
It was the lyrics of that final song that touched my heart. I have been going through things myself. I have been unlocking parts of me that I have held behind walls to protect myself from the world but it has also dampened my creativity and my ability to be my truest authentic self.
This movie served as a reminder that we must embrace everything, including our fears, and take action to keep moving forwards, to keep pushing towards our goals and dreams by unlocking our full potential and be our truest authentic selves in everything that we do. We may not be Kpop Idols or achieve fame in the way that celebrities do, but we will be successful in whatever we wish to do in life, whatever our desires, dreams and hopes may be.
